Post #1 Life Update

 Hey again!


So, today's 4th of August, and I am slowly overcoming my fear of riding a scooter in traffic. The day went well, and Its around.. 1:30 PM while writing this post. Since Morning, I wanted to ride the scooter again. Hell. It feels so freaking awesome! The moment you reach optimum speed, you can clearly feel the wind gushing through your face. Its kind of self-explanatory for people who already ride motor-bikes. Anyways. I don't feel shy to admit that I am learning this now. Its never too late to learn something new. My Dada-Jee says that.

Well, today My Dadi-Jee asked me to buy some biscuits, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to take the scooter out for a small ride. I couldn't resist, hence took the keys and some money to buy her the biscuits. Went out, started the scooter, pressed the accelerator a little bit and then started the journey again. 

Oh my God. 

I could get used to it. The feeling. Its just out of this world!

Anyways. I didn't want to speed over 25, so I kept low. 

I reached the Grocery Store, Bought the items. And you won't believe! My heartrate was plummeting high! I just don't know why! Maybe, because of the fear? The thrill or .. its because of something new I guess? I seriously have no idea. Soon, I packed the items, put it onto the scooter. Then I thought of one thing : 

The only way, I'm going to overcome this fear of riding is to ride again and again. And face it!

Inserted the key twisted it and went on a small ride till the Chandrapura check-post. I could clearly notice my handling getting better. Well not much, but better than yesterday though. Ah! Not to mention, I went for a small ride till Power Plant with my Elder brother yesterday! It was fun too. But, I felt responsible. I had to be. To be honest, I've never ever ridden with a Pillion before. Just on bicycles.

Coming to today, I took 2 rounds from Check-Post to CISF entrance (Maybe around 300-400 Meters in distance). It was hell of a ride! I enjoyed it too much. Although, I was over-cautious. Soon, I had to return to home as it was going to rain. Well, as soon as I reached the turning of my colony, I turned with ease. Not too nicely but, okay-ish! Parked the scooter inside and came back. And you won't believe. The first thing that came into my mind when I came back was, The one thing that induced a hell lot of fear and anxiety within me, I wanted to ride it again. 

Sounds weird right? Well I am weird. "Sometimes".

My Dad was sitting in my room and he asked where I went. I answered him happily. He seems so happy that I am riding a scooter without any problem. 

Well that's it for the update today, and oh! I am going to serialize my posts from today onwards. I'll put everything related to my life under 'Life' label.

Kriti   They say time changes everything... But, I often wonder if that's always true.  I sit on my bed, scrolling mindlessly through Instagram.
